I feel focused on so many things sometimes, but professionally I always come back to the experience. How does the experience you’re presenting impact your customers, your employees, your bottom line? A lot of people talk about this subject but few really get it, in my humble opinion.
So I follow the ones that get it on Twitter to continually learn and add to my arsenal regarding customer experience. In some cases, I’m sure I compete in a business sense with some of the people here. But overall their knowledge is just too great not to share. Here are 14 you should follow for their knowledge, too.
Don’t forget you can also check out ALL my recommendations on this Twitter list: My Follow Friday.
@btemkin Bruce is the Forrester analyst on Customer Experience and full of research, knowledge and good stuff. While the little guy might not be able to afford Forrester, you can still benefit from his tweets.
@markhurst Attend GEL. Get Mark’s newsletter. And while he’s not a prolific tweeter, he always has something interesting to say.
@chareeklimek Charee’s focus on engaging employees offers great content on this important piece of the customer experience puzzle!
@jackiehuba Jackie has often understood and communicated about experience without following the pack. She leads it.
@benmcconnell Ben’s spot-on writing on customer experience, word-of-mouth marketing, and more are always good posts.
@deliverbliss Follow Tim now because there’s more great stuff coming!
@ColinShaw_CX The expert from the UK is great to follow for intriguing customer experience data & content.
@spokencomm Interesting angle on customer experience via call centers & SaaS.
@livepath Leigh is in line with my thinking on overall experience that I’m pretty sure most of our tweets have included some sort of “Right On, Sister!” message back and forth. ![]()
@ConversationAge Valeria writes about a lot of things, and experience makes its way into many posts, because she gets it. She is also a great host of #kaizenblog – a Twitter chat every Friday at 12 pm EST.
@dkasrel While Deni’s focus is communication, she really understands the strategic aspect of it, including how it can influence (or detract from) the over experience.
@NetPromoter Again, while the little guy might not be able to attend the conferences or the like, the tweets provide wonderful tips and advice for anyone.
@apearson While his bio identifies him as a B2B and Tech PR Pro, his tweets prove he thinks about the greater experience.
@mcgrathcomm I adore how Noeleen looks at the WHOLE message for her approach to on-air, in-person and online communications. Another one who “gets it” in spades.
While some on this list identify as experience professionals, each one brings something new and unique to the conversation, adds tremendous content and data, or just makes me think sometimes. Anyone you would add to this list? Let me know! Happy Tweeting!
