Journeys are often surprising, sometimes have disappointing parts, and usually are looked back on fondly. Best of luck enjoying your own path, wherever it's taking you. Thanks for your insights and for sharing your courage here!

Chris – I love how you’re exploring this. When they learn things about their customer processes that might not be terribly great, we offer them opportunities to improve on their journey...and no one said journeys were going to always be easy.I'm also reflecting on my own experience right now. To me, getting out of my own way means to be courageous enough to just let go. In many ways, I've been clinging to the rocks at the bottom of the fast moving river, hoping that by hanging on tightly I can keep everything stable. But the current demands movement and by letting go, I'm free to experience new opportunities. This may mean moving from Austin...and I'm finally understanding that that's perfectly fine. Growth and exploration are a valuable part of the journey.Cheers /C

Jeannie, I love, love, love this sentence: “Learning is a journey, not a destination.” The connection we make to our clients is to help them also see and understand this.
