Yesterday at a conference, I was peppered with questions about WHY small and growing businesses should enter into social media. This video from a few weeks ago helps answer some of those questions. But it’s important to note that it’s always wise to think of the WHY prior to jumping into the HOW.

I never thought that our business, companionship services for seniors in Chicagoland and Cleveland, had a place on Facebook. I have a personal Facebook page that I putt putt around talking about the Chicago Bears and quotes from the movie Animal House.....but after listening to Jeannie, I decided I had to get going on Companions for Seniors Facebook page. We were missing out on great marketing opportunities and word of mouth distribution. Thanks to Jeannie for getting me on the right path!
