Interesting I thought, we cant use real patients (of course), they wouldn&#039;t allow any of my crew or an off the street volunteer (insurance) so one of the emergency medics was delegated to play accident &quot;victim&quot;.We shot the footage for the TV spot, with a minimum number of takes and making the &quot;action&quot; as realistic as we could under the circumstances.. When we were done I talked to the medic impersonating the accident victim. He was astounded at what a dreadful experience being transported by the med-flight was, and he wasn&#039;t even a victim.  Discussion followed about having each of them experience the &quot;victim&quot; side of things, and perhaps they could make some positive changes to improve the experiences for those they transported and cared for.This was truly an eye opening experience for me and perhaps more so, for the med-flight service.
